Completed:
Lighted, paved
parking lot.
New children’s and
teen areas with new shelving, café tables and lots more room. Do stop by and rest in the new chairs in the
adult newspaper & magazine area. Large print is located there also. The
library is now air conditioned and will be a great place to beat the heat in
summer. The new computer lab is completed and laptop computers are available
for online learning, genealogy and other research. Reading garden and
amphitheater have also been completed.

Main Level
- New Children's Room including Young Adult and Parent
Resource Area
- Restoration of original building as Reading and
Reference Area
- New Circulation Area with Staff Workroom
- Enclosed Genealogy Area
Basement Level
- Community Room accessible to organizations after
library hours
- Amphitheater and sidewalk for outdoor Summer Programs
- Programming Area for year-round use
Upper Level
- New Museum space with permanent display in climate
controlled area
- Existing museum space will be restored to an Auditorium
Parking Lot
- New parking lot offering easy access for handicapped
patrons will be added at the rear of the library.
All levels will be handicapped accessible.

Cost to complete this project: $3.5 million.
